Lining Options
Steel Drum
PhenolicsPhenolic linings are the least flexible and are suited for agricultural chemicals, flavors and fragrances, strong acids and strong solvents. Phenolic linings are available in Clear/Gold non-pigmented, Tan/Red pigmented, and Olive Drab (OD) pigmented formulas.
Epoxy Modified PhenolicsEpoxy Modified Phenolics are more flexible and are suited for acidic and alkaline products in water, and moderately strong solvents. The epoxy modified phenolic formula is brown in color.
Epoxy PhenolicsThe Epoxy Phenolic linings are the most flexible. They are suited for mild solvents and acids in water, alkaline products in water, detergents and surfactants, and food products. The epoxy phenolic linings are buff/tan in color.
Unlined DrumsNitrogen is injected into the unlined drums which displace "moist" ambient air to help prevent rusting.
