Powder Jars are straight-sided cylindrical shaped bottles with neck diameters normally as wide as the container itself. They are commonly manufactured in HDPE resin. They can also be manufactured in lighter gram weights or with a combination of HDPE and PCR resins to meet one of the compliance options for the California Rigid Plastic Packaging Container (RPPC) Program.
The Powder Jar is available in a wide variety of capacities and features multiple neck finish options, and carton pack configurations. Standard colors include White and Natural but Custom Colors are also available. The majority of resins used for manufacturing Powder Jars meet FDA requirements for food contact.
Powder Jars can be enhanced through the use of decoration, labels, and surface treatments. Various closure options for Powder Jars include CT, Shaker, and Tamper Evident styles, which can be found by clicking on the link to Caps/Closures under Enhancements below).
